Classic tour of the masterpieces of Gaudí, in which you'll learn the architectural characteristics of Modernism, along with the keys to their creative inspiration forming an inseparable part of Barcelona's image.
We will visit the following sights: Sagrada Familia, Parque Güell, La Pedrera y Casa Batlló.
Sagrada Familia: By far the least conventional church in Europe, the temple of Sagrada Familia is an emblem of the city's uniqueness. It is Gaudi's most important undertaking, highly symbolic, inspired by nature and reflects a passionate seeking of absolute expression.
Parque Güell: Declared a UNESCO Heritage of Humanity member, Parque Güell is Gaudi's most colorful creation. Experience the Spectacular Hall of a Hundred Columns or the Great Circular Plaza; a sunny open space with a whimsical balcony of multicolored mosaic from where one can peer out upon a magnificent panoramic view of the city.
La Pedrera (Casa Milá): Built between 1906-1910, it is Gaudi's major contribution to civil architecture and universal design. One of his best and most ambitious creations, La Pedrera is extraordinarily innovative in its construction, and functional and ornamental aspects.
Casa Batlló: Masterpiece of Gaudí, more than a building, it is a myth of art, the architecture and universal design of all time. It is a modernist reference point, where differences are expressed in the most refined succession of artistic and architectural details. Casa Batlló was designed with utmost creativity and with the contributions of the best artists and professionals of the time.
