The Catalunya circuit is one of the most modern racetracks having hosted some very important motor competitions.
Situated 20 km outside of Barcelona, it was inaugurated in 1991 and has an approximate seating capacity of 100,000 spectators. Among the principal sporting events celebrated there are the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Catalonia Motorcycle Grand Prix.
The course proves an authentic challenge to the drivers' skills and the ingenuity of the technical teams. Its main stretch demands optimum motor performance, where speeds can reach over 312 km/h.
